In : my mind I see some sort of proto-intelligent race. Also, consider that : their name is capitalized. We don't write "...had to hunt down some : Tigers..." We do write "...had to hunt down some : Hamishes..." : Obviously, Chockisens were dangerous enough to require the protection of : Battle Armor. So I would think they were 1) numerous, 2) massive, or 3) : cunning. : The term "harrasing" suggests to me an intelligent intent. : Similarly, "you had to hunt down," makes me think of a threat : that was smart enough to retreat and hide. I don't believe that dumb, : dangerous animals would both harass and hide. Interesting interpretation. Chockisens sound to me very similar to hyaenas (wild dogs). They hunt in packs, harass individual or small groups of animals including humans and are smart enough to retreat when the going gets tough. And yes if I was going to hunt them down I would wear battle armor. ;-) Cheers Hamish
