Ooh... I don't really know about that... Have you played the original Marathon with Quicktime working properly, Gholsbane, Callie? Maybe it's just my overwhelming nostalgic memories, (or the fact that my MIDI player is better than yours: ) ), but the MP3's just... It's hard to explain, but they just don't *feel* the same. The lead is too harsh.... In fact, everything is a little too harsh, too crisp, too clean. I play the MIDIs, and Marathon comes back to me in one huge rush. The MP3s just feel, oh, I can't really quantify it... Reconstructed. But the MIDIs feel just right. That, and the MIDIs load in a blink, whereas I'd probably be finished reading the terminals by the time the MP3s load. : ) Service With A Smile: ), Scifiteki
