What sort of file size are you willing to accept? "Landing" in flawless-sounding quality comes out to 3 megabytes. Reducing the bitrate or sample rate can knock that down by half or more, at the cost of some fidelity.

Once that's decided, I've got all the QT2.5 tracks here in AIFF form just waiting to be encoded. At least they'd better be the originals... after years of hearing Tobacco's, Chibi-Usa's, Mark Sumner's, and the patched versions, the QT2.5 music seems very odd. Are the opening drums in "Flippant" really that loud?

(BTW, temporarily installing QuickTime 2.5 into System 9 had some interesting side effects. Sherlock lost its brushed-metal texture, iTunes crashed on launch, and Stuffit Expander refused to run at all - it apparently relies on a QT "Interface Library.")
