	In Response To: Re: "Doom" Movie en Route (Scifiteki) Hmmm... I tend to disagree. A good, dare I say awesome, Marathon movie could be produced, I think. But then, I fear that were it to be made, it would be done poorly. Although, there are enough of us fans to form a serious lynch-mob so as to discourage that. Plus, I wouldn't imagine that Bungie would give the rights to just anybody (Do they even have the rights still? At least we can be thankful that Microsoft don't.) I can see it in my head right now... and it just oozes atmosphere. Especially the final scene of the first movie (assuming it was done game-by-game). You know the one. The last few lines of the final screen from M1. I won't copy it here, but it's on the story page if you can't recall. But... as for Doom... at first I was as appalled as the rest of you, but then I got to thinking... there's no way of knowing what it will be like. I mean, certainly cheesy, but then aside from B-Movie demons, they will pretty much have a clean slate. There's certainly no existing story there to get in their way ;)
