| In Response To: Rubicon Volunteers - Goethe's Faust (Steve Levinson) I had no idea what Goethe's Faust was but I read some of the notes and for those too lazy to read them a Faustian agreement is, essentially, an agreement that has short term goals, but is bad in the long term. This perfecttly describes Durandal's bargain with Tycho.
