Dear tiny grasshoppers. This is D-M.A.s short and sweet Pfhorte guide!

What Pfhorte can do that Forge can't:

-Pfhorte doesn't have any viewing distance limit! You can view things from far away without getting the annoying error message.

-Pfhorte doesn't have the same floor and ceiling height limit. Meaning you can build taller structures.

-Pfhorte doesn't have the same too many invisible boarders and lines problem. It's there in Pfhorte too, but Pfhorte handles it more gracefully by playing an alert sound over and over again. But it doesn't crash as often as Forge.

Annoying things in Pfhorte:

-Texture alignment problems. A solution is to first make the map in Pfhorte, then open it up in Forge and do some re-alignment.

-The Jjaro set is not supported. A solution is to have a separate Shapes-file where you replace all the water-collection textures with the Jjaro-textures in the right order. Then finish the map in Forge and simply changing the level-parameters to the Jjaro-set.

-You have to build a polygon clock-wise. If you build it the other way around the polygon gets corrupted.

-The "visual mode" is quite limited :)

-To open a Forge-made map in Pfhorte, you have to merge it in Forge before you can view it in Pfhorte.

Things that work differently in Pfhorte.

-You place all the texures in the "build mode". You can't place any textures in "visual mode". This is both good and bad. It's hard to place textures in small spots and hard-to-reach places in Forge. But it's more time-consuming to place them in Pfhorte.

-The maps you make in Pfhorte are saved as some sort of half-merged maps. Because of this, it's always good to finish a map in Forge and merge it there. This also eliminates some weird bugs produced by Pfhorte.

-A bunch of other stuff...
