a ship isint a goverment, Boomer easpeacialy, its a military ship, Durandal as the captain, Blake taking care of the nity-grity, Blake is actualy the 1 sending troops chossing squads, and all that stuff. Durandal only has direct control of YOU.a ship is a heiracle system going true rank, the Bobs arent controled by fear (people who say they could only fight or stay in the dangerous cryo-tubes, dosent notice that Durandal would have to be stupid to let civilian bobs walk around in an over-crowded ship.
On Marathon, the vessel in travel is directed like a Ship too. When the phor arrive, its more like a facility, research equipment storage and human storage (doubtfull that in 6 months, they managed to build up the colony big enoug to store everybody.
