True, but said conversions have, at times, made money. Frankly, I'm doing my part to keep the creation of completely original stuff as a primary mission. Not easy, but things worthwhile rarely are. And... If you're gonna go and "convert" something, there's just too many a good tale out there in books, magazines, and so on, to even THINK about computer games. Unless, of course, you're "banking" on name-recognition. I mean, SPIDER-MAN is a great example: Decades of built-in fans (myself, at one time, included), who'll go and see the picture NO MATTER HOW GOOD OR BAD. This fact alone virtually guarantees making the money back, even with its lofty budget. Hell, with that equation, even something stupid, like THE HULK, will almost certainly make back every penny, in complete safety. :: Beer Can :: | |
