: i doubt Clark used assistants and im sure Asimov didnt use any.

: if youve read as much Asimov as me, (possible but doubtfull) you would know
: its imposible he used a team of assistants.

On the contrary: the more famous somebody is, the easiest is to copy his style. Now imagine how much easiest it would be if Asimov's editor hired you to write like him under his supervision. Impossible? Are you sure?

: now admitely Writing for a Science-fiction Magazine means that the story's
: gona go from editor to writer many times, acumulating some of the Editors
: style. But i doubt that is what you had in mind.

: Maybe you were talking about the Science fiction Magazine "Isaac
: Asimov" in wich he had no part.

: or the Biolocical Andriod storys he co-writh with a friend of him (all he did
: was add the biological Detail). maybe you were talking about this, but
: then again it was but a small fraction of what he wrote.

I wasn't talking about anything of the above. I have no problem reading books written by two people, or reading collection of stories from different authors. What I'm talking here is a book written by three or four different people under the supervision of one person and published as it was written by that person without any help.

: it would be like saying Doom is violent thus all games are violent crap that
: convey no idea.

You're trying to put words in my mouth. If say Danielle Steel is a bad writer, that's all I'm saying: Danielle Steel is a bad writer. I'm not saying all female writers are bad or all romantic novels are bad.

: -Tru7h
: -from november 1974 to november 1975 he wrote 7 scince fiction storys + 2
: police storys + and 1 book of the same type. 132000 words of fiction. at
: the time of this statistic he had written 120fiction storys. let us not
: forget his books on biology.
