I don't think it's possible to prove it, nor would it be possible to prove any other explain-everything theory, proof shouldn't be the issue here because it's pretty obvious we'll never come up with an idea that we can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt to be true and that also covers everything.

What makes Rick's idea so nice is that while there may be no proof, it makes perfect sense, it explains everything and ties it all together very nicely. For those of us that want to believe the games are all linked (even the Myth games would probably fit within Rick's idea, as the Leveler and Connacht seem to match pretty well with the KYT term) we now have a theory that links them all and still holds water, and it does so precisely because it links them while still recognizing them as seperate universes that stand alone.
