Good idea! (was "Re: Marathon Movie (Not!)")

Actually, I'd just been thinking that Marathon could be made into a really cool anime series. There'd be no limits on special effects, and 26 episodes would give them more than enough time to unfold the whole story. Plus, anime frequent features the sort of subtle-clues-to-the-big-plot-twist and fill-in-the-backstory-later storytelling as Marathon.

As with any medium (i.e. TV, movies, books), anime comes in both good and bad. But when it's good, it's REALLY good.
