Ah that was the Story page's April Fool's prank for 2000. I recreated Bungie 2nd web page from 1995. When their web page re-opened on Friday 13th Oct 1995 it offered Bill Catambay's Deliverance scenario for download. : What was the first ever 3rd party map for Marathon? The one would be hard to prove. Do you opt for simple creation date, upload date to AMUG, or posting date to Usenet? The first true editors came out later half of Feb '95. Maps began to appear in March. Net maps like Thomas Samson's "Underground" map spring to mind. That one went through many public iterations in March '95. May not have been the first map though. The first real attempt at something like a solo scenario was "Passage of Fools". You could advance to the next level via teleporters. No new terminal text though. We had to wait until Jim Brewster's "Athen Outpost" for that. I still remember how awed I was when I first played it back in mid-April '95. Cheers
