Somthing : reprogramming you is probably a good reason to break an old cyborg out of : storage for a while :P Maybe the s'pht didn't reprogram durandal - maybe they simply *hosted* him. After all, that would explain why Durandal needed to form an 'agreement' with the S'pht onboard the Boomer - if he was hosted by their group-neural network, surely that would be an even greater equivalent to a plnet sized network than shakey Pfhor hardware? Tycho was hosted onboard a pfhor ship and went more and more violently insane. If Durandal was hosted by a race built by the jjaro, maybe he would develop s'pht like personality (lining himself up for greater compatibility with Thoth :D) After all, in the same way that an AI hosted on a human-built network becomes more and more human, maybe an AI hosted on an alien network becomes more like those aliens? -z.
