Fire power isn't really one of the magnum's strong suits. I know. But read my reasons for switching from the AR to the M. They're true. Remember that no weapon is better than the other. Each gun is a trade-off. No weapon "sucks". The magnum saved my ass in some cases in which the AR couldn't.

The fusion pistol isn't quite as fast moving either, and if you hold down the secondary fire for too long, you would have an accident, and if you fire it underwater, you would accidently hurt yourself; yet another accident. Remember that fire power isn't everything. Sure, that is everything in games like DOOM or Wolfenstein, where guns got better as they went on, but hey, in this game, there are actual strengths and weaknesses.
