	In Response To: Any comics that are good reading in your opinion Z *NM* (elliott) As indicated before, I'm partial to 2000ad and judge dredd megazine. If it's awkward to get them where you are, I can particularly recommend a number of the graphic novel collections of old stories. In particular, I'm very fond of nikolai dante, glimmer rats and rain dogs. Button Man if you can get it. I must admit, my knowledge of US comics is a little lacking, having been a little overexposed to a large quantity of mainstream hokum. Thankfully, a workmate is currently educating me in the Ways -- one of the advantages of working at a games company is that everyone is some kind of geek, or at the least pretty smart :P I can recommend, therefore, by way of my friend, the Grant Morrison-penned issues of doom patrol, League Of Extrordinary Gentlemen (which ought to be easy to find in light of the recent film), Hellboy (again, the upcoming film ought to simplify this search), and Kingdom Come. This final comic is made strong by the sheer iconic power of an all-star cast, each represented properly as they would be in old age. If you like a comic romp, I can recommed Danger Girl for shits and giggles... which brings me nicely to Dirty Pair by Adam Warren. It sort of counts as Manga, albeit US. I'm particularly fond of Manga, it must be said, althogh it is becoming increasingly difficult to locate any in the UK that isn't Yu Gi-Oh ;) I can heartily recommend Akira, but it is MASSIVE. I fall in and out of favour with Heavy Metal Magazine -- sometimes it strikes me as an interesting collection of very european-flavoured adult graphic novels, taken very seriously; other times it strikes me as tits, guns and swords. If you want me to explain any of these further than just the title, just yell. Some of them may be difficult to find a sufficient explanation via our friend Google. Cheers! [b]
