: Wait a second Judge Dredd was a great movie. It had it all ridiculous action
: and tons of comedy. Not that it was ment to be that funny, but it was a
: high priced campy movie.
: My friends and I had a bad recent sci-fi movie form comics night of Dredd and
: Barb Wire. Now Barb Wire was just god awful, the plot was too big for the
: movie and the acting was terrible. It probably could have been salvageable
: minus Anerson. With ou her I would have missed what seemed to be the only
: funny scene in the whole thing. You see it opens up with her getting
: sparyed by a fire hose and instead ofbeing erotic it was just long and
: akward, I literly could not stop laughing at how bad it was. To top it off
: she then kills a guy by landing her shoe in his head ala American Maid
: from the tick.
: Does ant one know if either of the comics are any good? Dredd seemed like it
: was your average ultra violence junk that poped up in Heavy Metal when
: Kevin Eastman took over. And Barb Wire had mixed reviews often sighting it
: was just your average 90s T&A comic.
I don't remember Barb Wire but they both sound like perfect fodder for Mystery Science Theatre 3000. Too bad those guys are no longer thrashing bad movies. That was one of the funniest things I've seen on TV.
Although I'm aware that they exist, I've never read any of those comics. Maybe if I had read some Judge Dredd comics I would have appreciated the movie more. mb I'd also be interested to hear if any of the comics were worth our time.
