	In Response To: eye spy: how do they see? (elliott) : What does the third eye add to the pfhor vison. The second eye on humans is : for depth. So a third would be overkill in frontal vison. The seven eyes : on the enforcers could see all around except for behind. : Could the pfhor have poor vison? does a third eye impove this poor vison? : And what about a tick? Maybe the third eye sees different wavelengths? Then it would probably look different from the other two, though. Of course, there are lots of animals on Earth with more than 2 eyes, but I don't thnik any natural animal has an odd number.
