I'm not expert in Forge, but I'm a great believer in learning by example. It seems to me that you want a switch that cannot be turned off and that remains active until the last platform has reached its end position. In other words, you activate the switch to change map layouts in either direction - the player will never be allowed to deactivate the switch. We've all seen switches like this, starting with the original Marathon. You might want to peak at M1A1 to see how they did it. I suspect that you need to tie your switch to the slowest moving platform and use that platform to activate the other platforms or to activate a tag. If your platforms activate sequentially such that there is no slowest platform, then I would add a secret platform outside of the map area and use that as your basic timing mechanism for the whole sequence. I've seen that approached used in many levels, particularly in Rubicon. Perhaps Chris could help you.
