I've played Bungie games at a friend's house back in 1995 (I was nine), but I never really tried Marathon until I downloaded Aleph One SDL/Win32.
Fond memories of seeing him sneak around a cadre of compilers... last one was of him getting his ass mooched by a Drinniol. >D I should download A1 SDL someday... but I'm still waiting for an OpenGL compatible release of AO with terminals.
What can I say? I'm patient.
Oh, and I voted for Waldo World. The first time I tried that was in Marathon: Resurrection...
