(Ernie) : I may be a little late on this, but better late than never... : I just bought the book Halo: The Fall of Reach today (actually I had it : ordered in...) and during my break at work, I sat down for a short read. : Then in the cover, I noticed the MARATHON symbol hidden within the HALO logo. : WTH? : Is the Marathon symbol generally in ALL Halo symbols, [hidden bettween the A : and the L] or is it specific to the Halo logo on the Halo:FotR book? : Everyone and their grandma now knows Halo has ties to Marathon, but why would : the marathon symbol (which, to my knowledge symbolizes the hollowed out : Demios Moon, with Colonyship inside) be tied into Halo? I always though : the MARATHON Symbol in all its greatness refered ONLY to the U.E.S.C : marathon colony ship, and not to the U.E.S.C in general (or UESG, or : whatever its calling Halo...). : So many questions... : Perhapse I should actually read the book beyond the intro. ;-) : -Ernie The Marathon symbol has been hidden in the HALO logo since the game was first announced. Don't be too bothered... I've found tons of stuff that was already reported ages ago... the concept art on the Sack CD, the Tachibana Labs logo from Serial Experiments: Lain... the list goes on and on...
