300's are more than enough. I played 8 player LAN back in 9th grade on POS's.
But then all my computer nerd friends got uppity and decided they didn't like Marathon anymore. Phooey.
As far as your other question, I'll let you in on a little secret. Mac Marathon 2 AND Infinity codes work for PC Marathon 2.
