No doubt about it - there's absolutely no escaping Marathon, as long as you have a Macintosh and an Internet connection, and don't have a problem with the idea of computer games or something. At least, I've long since given up thinking of ways I could have avoided it permanently. Of course, now Halo's release for Xbox opens up a whole new path in....

: fears of addiction were obviously well founded ;-) . Little did I know how
: many 3rd party scenarios would follow, or that A1 would keep the fever
: going. Interestingly, I never went back and played PID.
