This is the answer to the question "I can't add textures to anvil"
Or well, the ANSWER is "that's hard-coded into the game, it's impossible to add more textures.
But IIRC Return To Marathon had the entire texture collection from Marathon 1 packed into a single texture set. Did those guys reprogram the game, or whut? In any case, it's obviously a solution to the problem, so why isn't it on Bungie's support page? What if I actually wanted to add textures, without knowing it was possible, and tried to get an answer from there! My whole life would be ruined!
