i think it is there cause Bungie said that they would let got of marathon and never make a sequal (or whatever it is called) but they cant let go of their greatest game forever so they put some marathon stuff in other games the develop, it is like the seven it is in many bungie games, maby marathon is so special it is starting to be there symbol or logo or something heh,
