Is Halo the Conclusion of PID? (Rant)
Posted By: REBDate: 10/6/01 1:03 p.m.

It's old news that one of the Covenant's vehicles was named the Banshee and that one of PID's monsters was called this way, among other things. Now this blue thank is called the Wraith, which is also the name of another PID's monster. Is this a hint? At the end of PID the player stunt the dreaming god and the US goverment await 2 long years until the Jjarro arrive on Earth and take the dreaming god away. To where? The Halo ring? Is this the secret buried inside the Halo that will turn the tide of the war in favor of Humanity? The Germans on PID were looking for the dreaming god to use it as a weapon to win World War II. The god seemed uncontrolable on PID, but there's a chance the player on Halo posses the same technnology used by the Jjarro to control the god. So one possibility - out of many - is that the player in Halo, with the help of sexy Cortana, will be able to summon the dreaming god or use its power to defeat the Covenant, just like Alric used one of the five Eblis Stones to defeat Balor on M:TFL.
