In Response To: Marathon levels (The Tiny Toad)

Well, back in early -95 I tossed away my old PLUS and got me one of those
Mac II fx 40 Mhz. Then I went out and bought me a MacFormat magazine (my first one). On the CD which came with the magazine I found the best game I had ever seen, Marathon! It was also the first first-person-shooter I had ever played! It was so COOL. Man I almost shit my pants when those first Pfhor jumped on me at the beginning of arrival. It was so real, the 3D-graphics made me feel like I was inside the game! Of course it was weeks later that I found out that one could actually tweak the difficulty setting yourself in the preferences, so I kept playing it on normal. And being the unexperienced player that I was at the time it took me over a week to complete the demo, but I loved every second of it. And when I had completed it I probably played the demo like a hundred times. Man I came to love those levels in the demo. That's why I must say that my favorite levels are those in the demo.
No wait, not long after that there was another game from Bungie; Marathon 2. This was not as great as the first one. Well it probably was, but there were no real suprices since I had already played the first one. Anyways, it was addictive as ****, and I probably played that demo like a hundred times also so I would say that my favorite levels would be those from the two demos.
No wait... a year or so after that bungie released yet another Marathon...

: So, ! What are you guys' favorite levels of marathon? Personally I'd say What
: About Bob? or Eat It, Vid Boi! in Marathon 2.

: I also have this question, the answer can probably be found on this site but
: it's late, I don't have time. In Marathon 1, Durandal tells us to retrieve
: a S'pht (Or is it Sp'ht?) device that will allow us to slay more Pfhor.
: What the heck is it? An extra life from Megaman?
