If one of the Marathon's AIs had anything to do with Halo, it would likely have been Durandal. Keep in mind that this game takes place before Marathon 1...

Frankly, I don't think that the AIs on board the U.E.S.C. Marathon are going to affect what happens in "Halo". If anyone on board the Marathon during its long journey is going to have some affect on Halo, I'd place my bets on the player and Dr. Strauss. (Rampant AIs are his specialty... and we DO have one Rampant AI named Cortana, no?)
