So after a few good few years I finally own a mac once more, sadly I wish I didn't as it is through the death of my father taken before his time on Christmas Eve due to cancer.

After a lengthy departure from Apple a 10Gb iPod all I have to show my love for their products over that time I'm totally new to OSX but seem to be getting on ok.

Now of course I want to get back into all the marathon stuff (map making included) that I had to leave when I started gaming and using PC's only.

Just wondering if there is yet an OSX level ed as good as Forge or if I should stick with OS 9 (dual boot on this iBook with X 10.2.8) for that kind of stuff or if I can remove 9 and sztick with X only.
