I loved Marathon 1. Loved Marathon 2. Just beat Infinity. Have NO IDEA what went on.
Okay. Now the star blew up in part two... and suddenly I'm with Tycho? I was able to piece together (I think) that it was almost an alternate timeline, where Tycho picked you up instead of Durandal at the end of part 1, so you were on his side. The triple electric sheep levels seemed to mean that it was going into another... timeline? Dream? Something. But the thing is I did NOT understand what the other two timeline/dreams were bout.
The first was obviously about helping Tycho since he was the one who picked you up. But the other two? No clue. Also, why the hell did Tycho turn from the avenging good guy in number 1 ("Those poor people deserve vengence") to the ass he is in two and three?
From what I gather they leave clues to the fact that you're a cyborg through the whole series, and the end seems to confirm this... what does it have to do with anything, though?
Any answers would be appreciated.
