	Marathon story threads

	As we all know, there are countless threads offered by the marathon trilogy -- enough plots, counter-plots, and little explorations of the Marathon Universe to make the story compelling enough that we're still discussing it. My question is a general one: which is your favourite part of the Marathon story, and why? Which thread did you or do you find most compelling? More importantly, what draws you to it? I'm personally drawn to the moral ambiguity of Durandal and Tycho -- the fact that Leela sought do do The Right Thing, and was swallowed by the attack on the Marathon; Durandal and Tycho, conversely, use the machinations of the conflict to bicker :P [z]
