Question about Bungie.org
Posted By: RyanmanDate: 9/3/03 3:27 p.m.

Since we don't seem to have too much to talk about...

Every few days I visit Bungie.org to see what's up in my favorite universe. I eagerly read the little tidbits of interest. As an example:

"SketchFactor has posted the last installment of the behind-the-scenes look at the Halo 2 E3 demo. Good read. HBO's got the goods."

I would love to read about that!

However, even though the above topic is of great interest to me I will not click on it, because it will inevitably take me to the home page of the site and not to the content that I want to read. Now, maybe the link to the story from the home page is obvious, or maybe it's been a few days and there is no link. It's like one of those annoying magazines with stories listed on the cover that don't match up with anything in the table of contents.

So, my question: is there some copyright/technical issue with linking right to the stories of interest or is this some kind of misguided marketer thinking that assumes we'll see more of the site if we need to dig around and look for it?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Thanks,
Ryan
