i have been yelled at few times for saying Marathon 3 instead of Marathon Infinity. People have been saying "Infinity is Infinity, not Marathon 3" and stuff like that.
but now i got a proof... Something that comes from the Bungie guys!!!

i found this in the description for Marathon (3) Infinity.
"Marathon Infinity is the third and final installment of the Marathon Series."
