Tycho or not?

Somehow, I dobt that the "Tycho" we meet at the end of this level is the real Tycho. His talk is just wrong. He's never used that kind of derogatory talk about/ to the Marine before (Congratulations are in order, worm...). Besides that, he refers to "his" troops later on. I see two possibilities:

1. (unlikely)- an Imperial or Command- ranked Pfhor AI has copied Tycho's moniker and is using it to direct us here before Admiral Tfear gets word and commandeers our services.

2. Its already Admiral Tfear, and he's got a copier of Tycho's authenticator stamp to test us before sending us into the breach.

I see the latter as more likely; Admiral Tfear is a crafty bugger (bug?).

The explanation for how the Pfhor AI gets through, or Tfear sneaks in, is because we're not actually cutting the power to the "box" Tycho's in. Instead, we're cutting power to Tycho. After a few hours of borrowed time, someone (probably of Conditioned rank, or reduced to it afterward...) restores power, explaining the terminal on Bagged Again.

: The dungeon is fairly simple: Get down the lava shaft, smash the two circuits
: on Tycho's core, and get out. If you go exploring, you can find scraps of
: ammo and a ton of cyborgs to kill, plus it will make the overhead map a
: hideous rat's nest. Return to the place you got the M-75 for beamout.
: Tycho is in control, and the Marine is obeying him, but this time things
: are going according the Marine's plan as well. He'll stay the course and
: wait for something he knows will happen soon, as it always does as events
: unfold: A chance to meet Thoth, the ancient Jjaro artifact who may be the
: only one who knows what's really going on and how to stop it. And a chance
: to use his secret weapon, the copy of Durandal in his mind, the master
: manipulator everyone thinks is dead.
