The third and final terminal in the first level of Marathon Infinity:
What exactly IS it? After pasting the hex code into resedit (and Hexedit) it turns up what appears to me like the code header of a .sit file (it has what I reconized as a creator and type codes of a .sit file anyhow).
When I tried creating a dummy .sit file, ripping out its innards, then replacing the hex of that file with the code from the Ne Cedie Malice terminal...
I got a corrupted file called “Hats Off to Eight Nineteen.sit” produced.
Humm. It fills my mind with ideas regarding WMaiD, but better yet, questions regarding what this tiny file actually is.
Any ideas? It’s likley been solved, but I must have missed this puzzles resolution.
