Did Strauss put the 10 cyborgs on board the Marathon? If so, then why?
We know that Durandal and Strauss have a history, but what about Strauss and the player? In my message about the player, I mentioned that he may have been killed by the black-suited men mentioned in the Electric sheep terminals and then grafted to Jjaro technologies. Perhaps Strauss was involved in, or oversaw this procedure. That would explain his interest in the cyborgs aboard the Marathon. However, if we maintain the theory that the player took part in the Onicis 492 war, that would make Strauss at least 300 years old by the time the Marathon was launched. Either people live a lot longer in the future, or he spent a lot of time on ice.
