There are many a : vidmaster that play by the mouse, and many more that use the keyboard : alone. I'm a keyboarder myself, because M-thon's mouse support is just a : little too quirky for me. (On third-gen FPSs, mouselook is practically : required, but then again it's much smoother.) Yeah, I just can't stand using the mouse for Marathon. I've tried, many times. I always end up falling into a giant flaming pit of lava or planting my SPNKR shot into the wall right next to me. Anyway, mousing makes it so you can't have all of the keys covered at any given time, and you can't use the glance keys very effectively (faster then side-stepping and you can look forward on the fly). Just my thoughts...
