In Response To: Re: Volunteers: Unpfhorgiven (Soapstone) : If they're unwanted, what were they doing on the Pfhor scoutship in the first
My own humble opinion is that they are juvenile pfhor, some kind of pupa stage. Or, perhaps they're larvae and then the build egg shells around themselves to turn into adult pfhor shapes. In an insect-like society, this seems conceivable to me. And the lookers are simply "dumb" animals that have mines attached to them and are trained (by smell?) to seek humans and blow them up. The Russians used this to great effect in WWII, training dogs with mines attached to eat under captured German tanks. Then they sent them to the battlefield and activated the mines when the dogs went under enemy tanks using magnets or some other automatic switch. Sammah Hattah Hayah Maad |
