More Shotgun nonsense
Posted By: TheZealotQDate: 8/8/02 9:27 a.m.

I was checking out the schematic of the marathon shotgun and i saw two things that were suspicious. First it has been mentioned the the cocking of the gun could be acomplished by lever action, however there isn't any lever visible - tho it could be a pressure plate type thing. Secondly, twirling to reload i think maybring the breech opening (whats it called?) within reach of the thumb allowing you to jam a shell into it.The covering metal plate could be retracted (and put back) by the twirling motion. No internal magazine required. Also the twirling motion could exert enough force to cause the shell to slip into its proper location prior to firing.
nonsense? insanity? Insanely Great ™?
