In Response To: Re: Oh and... (Hamish Sinclair)

...this stuff is really invaluable for a few reasons, one of them to find out which points of the story were considered "important" from the story's creators. When you find the time to archive these, Hamish, I might humbly suggest, due to the illegibility of some of these documents, a format that was used in one of my most cherished books -- a full-sized facsimile edition of Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-four, published by a small Boston & English press. (Secker & Warburg, and M & S Press, respectively). The right side of the page his the actual ms., and the left side has a typescript version, with appropriate corrections (i.e., strike-throughs).

So... speaking of strike-throughs, It will be interesting, as per your comment re Durandal's Rampancy, to note what changes went were. :-)

At any rate, I'm looking forward to having a closer look at these.... these are, after the LNPs, the largest coherent post-Marathon body of work that we have to work with...

Cheers,

-gh
