I recently bought the Dr. Strangelove DVD (very good movie), and learned first-hand of the POE variations there, which got me thinking that the "CCS Purity of Spirit" as mentioned in the Halo transmissions could also be a reference to Kubricks masterpiece. Purity of Spirit is very similar in both word and meaning to "Purity of essence" in Dr. Strangelove. | |
