In Greek mythology: the best I can think of in terms of coolness, semi-obscurity, and spellability (to coin a word) would be Elpenor from the Odyssey, a member of Odysseus's crew who died when he fell off of Circe's roof while drunk on wine. If that's a bit too obscure you could use Hephaestus, which just plain sounds cool, but is a little difficult to spell. A Latin phrase from Marathon, such as igniferroque or habequiddam (or fatumiustumstoltorum, if you really want to make people type) might also work, but then we're getting into impossible-to-spell territory again.
Or, if all else fails, just make up something. (Works for me...)
