Maybe it was just a funny pic. But of course, Myth would have been pretty cool with stone-throwing weapons (especially if you rig it to throw 50-ton loads of wight pieces in a scatter-pattern!!!) Something along those lines does seem conceivable to me, but wouldn't that be kind of crass with the release of Warcraft 3 and the RPG Worlds of Warcraft at the same time??? Doh. I forgot. Microsoft owns Bungie now. =^( (Everybody knows that Apple is the "secret" R&D team for Microsoft.
