You have an interesting point about Durandal being driven by obsessions, but I'm not sure that stopping Dangi is really a priority. You might be right about it being on his to-do list, but I think that, if he does have an inkling about what is going on at Dangi, he is more interested in getting the virus than in stopping Dangi per se.
