You're the webmaster, Claude, so it's up to you how the forum is going to be. Just consider that things like avatars, built-in polls and a rank system - as trivial or annoying as they are - are appealing to some people. I can live with the forum the way it is right now, but sometimes when I leave this place to go to other BBS, I had this feeling my favorite board is not as good as it should be.
