	In Response To: Re: "Against a Dark Background" and Halo (Tom) : Excession was the first book to spring to mind after i saw a screenshot of : Halo. The 'O' shaped world that Halo seems to be set one. You mean "set on one", or set one as in a movie-set? Never mind. Bungie themselves have said that they are inspired Iain Banks' books (among others). And don't forget Ringworld... Bungie-fans might also want to read "Decipher" by Stel Pavlou; I'm about 1/3rd through and I must say that it's a fascinating story...
