The Durandal Song(s)

So how's the Durandal voice should be like? Pink Floyd released a 2-part song back in '87 as prologue/epilogue of an instrumental piece, that could answer this question.

I'm not trying to draw any relation between the guys who invented the music video and our favorite obssesion, but I imagine this as the voice of Durandal during the melancholia state; he's talking to Leela, or perhaps somebody else.

A New Machine (Part I) - 1.6 MB

I have always been here
I have always looked out from behind the eyes
It feels like more than a lifetime
Feels like more than a lifetime

Sometimes I get tired of the waiting
Sometimes I get tired of being in here
Is this the way it has always been?
Could it ever have been different?

Do you ever get tired of the waiting?
Do you ever get tired of being in there?
Don't worry, nobody lives forever,
Nobody lives forever

A New Machime (Part II) - 608 k

I will always be in here
I will always look out from behind these eyes
It's only a lifetime
It's only a lifetime
It's only a lifetime
