Not so. I've done it on both The Rose and Bob-B-Q, and I have the save files to prove it. On The Rose, I've done it several times on both Normal and Total Carnage; it's far from impossible, although it does take a lot of luck _and_ save scumming. Bob-B-Q is a different story, of course; I've only done it once on that level, and it's been long enough ago that I don't really remember how I did it. I think that one probably wasn't on TC, since none of my weapons on that save have more than the maximum amount of ammo.
