I’ve been staring at the EssayPay application for hours and honestly, I have no idea what they actually want in the writing sample. Do they care more about style, research skills, or just that I sound “college-level”? I’ve seen threads where people just say “be yourself” or “show off your knowledge,” but that feels vague. Should I focus on personal stories, academic topics, or even experiment with AI tools? Has anyone had success giving something unexpected that actually landed them the gig?
