Pathways into Darkness appears on Games Graveyard

Personally I'm the opposite when it comes to his view of the monsters & textures. Sure they look more like 80s Thundercats villains but they does add to the charm.
Marathon 1 textures & sprites also look good but only the Freeverse remaster sprites & textures look good in the latter two games of the trilogy (fan made in Infinity's case)

As I said to Rufus in the comments, I'd love if someone did a System Shock R style remake of PID like someone once tried as a Doom 3 mod except unlike the latter do it properly while keeping the latter's scary atmosphere & world building.
