Ray tracing that does 5D space then
Posted By: ehytoDate: 7/29/25 7:18 a.m.

It's a very simple idea.

Only render what the rays hit.

Plane and triangle intersection tests.

Parallel processing to run a ray for every pixel on the screen.

Take portal rendering and use rays to find visible polyhedrons.

The polyhedrons are made of triangles.

The triangle is regular geometry, a sky box or a portal.

Test for plane intersection first then test if the plane hit is inside a triangle.

The convex polyhedron has planes as it's faces.

A high level game developer could make this easily.

Anyone else looking at ray tracing to do 5D space?
